We soft-launched in May of 2020, officially incorporated in December of that year, and received our 501(c)(3) designation in June of 2021. The next month, we started accepting donations. We worked very hard for the next six months but ultimately were not able to get any traction.
By July of 2022, we felt that God was leading us to shut things down — although not permanently, which was unexpected. After 33 total months of working on TJR, we just went into this state of suspended animation.
That lasted until the spring of 2026 when God suddenly opened the door again. Several months of work followed, and in August of 2026 we launched a brand new TJR.
So while there's not much to see in these financials (yet), we have them here because we believe it’s critical to always be fully transparent about where every dollar goes.
